The Montparnasse Tower is located in the 15th arrondissement, bordering the 6th and 14th. It sits directly above one of Paris's largest transport hubs: Gare Montparnasse.
The station Montparnasse-Bienvenüe is huge. It serves lines:
Warning: This station is a labyrinth! The walk from the Line 4 or 12 platforms to the tower exit can take 10+ minutes underground, involving long moving walkways. Look for Exit (Sortie): Look for signs pointing to "Tour Montparnasse" or "Place Raoul Dautry".
Many bus lines stop right at the foot of the tower, often a more scenic way to arrive:
If you are arriving from Bordeaux, Rennes, or Nantes via TGV, you will arrive at Gare Montparnasse. The tower is right outside the "Porte Océane" exit.
The entrance for the Observation Deck (Ciel de Paris/Panoramic Visit) is NOT the main office entrance.
